The more you look at the world we live in these days and see the impact of what mankind has done to it, the more you realize something has to be done to address the stress we are placing on our planet.
   This is what prompted the initial Peak Oil in the News site, and it's sister site Global Warming in the News. But while those are now popular news resources they do not cover enough ground. It's important to know what we can do about these problems too. That's why we created Bio Diesel in the News, with other alternative energy and environmental resource sites to follow.

    Of course, bio diesel on its own cannot replace gasoline - nor even can it probably make up for 10% of our current gasoline consumption. That's because we need the land to grow food on too. But, it definitely is one part of the solution.
   Already it's possible to convert a diesel car to run efficiently on bio diesel and some can run on straight vegetable oil without anything being done to it. All of this and more are now covered daily on this website. We hope you find it a useful resource
