Use of mixed gasoline set to increase
(People's Daily Online) More car users in China are expected to use gasoline mixed with ethanol over the next five years, according to a government official involved in drafting the industrial plan for the biofuel. Car in cities in Northeast China's Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Jilin provinces, Central China's Henan Province, and East China's Anhui Province have already been using gasoline with 10 per cent ethanol at a slightly cheaper price than normal gasoline.

Pittsboro Plant To Produce, Sell Bio-Diesel
(WRAL.com) At the Piedmont Biofuels plant in Pittsboro, huge tanks have been filled with vegetable oil, glycerin and methanol. Even larger tanks are waiting to process and store the finished product. Workers are hustling to tie it all together because in ten days the plant will open for business off Highway 64 in Pittsboro."It's biofuel, so it's made out of waste vegetable oil or any kind of fat," said Piedmont Biofuels spokeswoman Tami Schwerin.
